well, i love my second host family. i love them, in a loving manner. i adore and relish their company. today i got reed:s course catalogue in the mail. i:m going to get in, i:m going to get in. bieris:s photo:s made my photographic talent shrivel and die. fuck, fuck. i want to do artistic things. and i will. saara:s spending the night saturday. i:m seeing motorcycle diaries wednesday. i:m shortening my skirt thursday and prancing around like a prancing prancer.
my host family bought me a pair of boots. they:re fake brown suede and clunky and soft and they:re like folk singer boots from the 1970:s. the earthy 70:s, not the disco 70:s. i love them.
today i made brownies, only i failed miserably. you see, the japanese oven is apparently completely different from its american equivalent, so they turned out so burned that i could stick a fork in the middle of the pan and wrench out the entire mess in a big, black block. haha. i ended up gouging the soft middle part out and putting them on a plate, and then my host mom walked in and proved to be the coolest woman around... she laughed and said at least it was fun to make them. and then she popped some of the non burned bits into her piehole and said OISHI! hurrah! i do so like her.
i also have a small, soft, black, yappy dog named koko.
i:m also really happy. in case you couldn:t tell.
