man i am broke
So today something came over me. I went to Best Buy with the intention of buying the first five CDs I came across that I wanted to buy. This is what I bought:
1. Jose Gonzalez/ Veneer
2. Tom Vek/ We Have Sound
3. Stephen Malkmus/ Face the Truth
4. Of Montreal/ The Sunlandic Twins
5. The Artic Monkeys/ Whatever People Say I am...
I took that Tom Vek CD from Mike's book. There's this one song that is just amazing and totally reminds me of him. Mitch I think you would like it. Well, I'm sure anyone reading this would, it's a good CD. All this good music on top of the new Thom Yorke CD that I am currently addicted to. I have SOOO much music right now it's fucking great.
I leave to Midland tomorrow until August when I move into the apt a little more than three weeks from now. I'm pretty stoked about that. This stay in Midland will be interesting to say the least. I just really can't wait to work again and get back to the grind. I miss having money and not having to stress so much. Mike's coming to visit in August for eleven days. The 15th through the 26th. Amazing. The nine days I spent with him were beyond amazing. Amazing. I miss him. I miss him and I'm fucking crazy about him. I don't know what to do about that. Things have just been so great between us it's unreal. I'm happy. I'm really happy. And I'm not settling. I'm not settling like I used to. It's amazing that I could have spent so many years with someone who really, really did not care about anyone other than himself. I hope someday he realizes how great I really am. I do hope he finds someone someday that can make him happy, but I hope she is not as cute as I am, haha. I just refuse to care about someone who does not care about me, its a HUGE waste of time and effort. I'm done with that. SO DONE with that. Anyway it's like 4am and I have no idea what I am doing still awake.
