Thoughts on SPN 3x04
I'm late, I know... I've already had it in my drive for days but managed to watch it just now. Overall it was a so-so episode, nothing to get excited about. Some demon revelations to put more gray area in SPN world, and more mystery surrounding Sam and Ruby (Lucifer?). The actress that played the bartender is so pretty, but jeez.. can't she and the rest of the extras act to save their lives or what? Or maybe the blame is on the writing, I want to see more interesting demons dammit! They all act the same, just another rehash from old characters, even the new hunter wasn't interesting at all (how he can be a hunter and still survive all this time is quite a wonder, really). Thank God we still have Bobby... and I truly miss Ash, he was so much fun.
Another thing... I've always been Jared/Sam girl since the beginning, but even I couldn't deny that Jensen was prettier and better actor of the two, and Dean was a more compelling character to watch. But lately somehow I found Jensen/Dean just bland and uninteresting while Jared/Sam strikingly more beautiful... probably because this season Dean's character became more cartoonish (hence lost the appeal for me) and Sam is more focus and deadly (hence much sexier in my eyes), I don't really know. Since the season premiere I thought something was off and I couldn't point out what that is. I'm still wishing this show will grab me like it used to be, please Kripke make some wonders!!
Howard Donald is supposed to be out for 2 weeks, according to The Sun. Thank God my sis already watched them in Barcelona. I feel really bad for Take That and their fans that this incident had to occur in the middle of the tour... but the show must go on and I want him in full recovery by the time he's back on stage, so rest well Howard!
