well...spiritual pursuit? it's sort of a toss up with this book, but you could read my FAVORITE book, if you haven't which is le comte de monte cristo by alexandre dumas. but dont' get an abridged version...the fat book is better. :D

I've seen the movie--the ten hour one, at that. With Gérard Dépardieu. That kind of ruined the story for me....

eh. screw the movie. none of the theatricals compare to the marvelous book. dumas is a literary genius.

If they made a ten-hour movie out of it, how long is the book? It's nothing against Dumas, but I don't think I could sit through 1,000 pages of reading. I top out and get impossibly bored around 300-400 unless it's MASTERFULLY written.

:D it is around 1,000 give or take, but you can get an abriged that's like, 500...i like the 1000 page better though. so much detail. ^_^
