Here's my story.
1. My laptop's USB port is acting funky. Recently, it's neglecting to transfer files entirely, often truncating them regardless of their size.
2. The normal workaround would be to find out if there's a *NIX command similar to wget -c url, but for local files. As I haven't found one, I'm going for a rather dumb workaround.
3. First, I install a fresh copy of XAMMP and start the services.
4. Then, I'll access the virtual directory with firefox, copy the generated links, and paste them on wget to look like wget -c
http://localhost/mari/file.avi and see if it resumes.
Yeah, it is pretty lame. XD
