So i am here at the fabulous permanent autonomous zone called the Bardstown Road Youth Cultural Center waiting for some youth to show up....Today was cleaning day for all the collectives and I believe that the summer of anarachy is well under way. Maybe its time to reevaluate the syndiclist structure for signs of lack of commitment to wholistic maintenance. When the sentiment exists
then there will be opportunity.
I think back to my father talking about relative intellegence and the natural inclination to benevolent dictatorship as a means of government as oppossed to lazy democracy....he believes that it is inevitable and that people lie to themselves
about their viability in citizens action...
I think that I will go be productive in my home and hope this lull in the dulldrums of sundays where the overworked and the unstimulated sleep until 4 pm will not douse my initiative.
Only one student showed up for the Empowering Me In Media class yesterday...we worked on an Art Collective project and I taught more about subtractive creation and recycled resources as a source for inspiration and application. We did no Batik work...painting with hot wax and dye work
but it is a long way to go to get history passed on and self sufficiency established.
its all about knowing what media can do what....
