-headdesk- my brain is fried. I wanna do a big fancy report but urgh, it's 2 am and I have school tomorrow. So I'll just sum it up nicely for anyone who wanted a brief report about the Freezepop concert on the 8th. everyone's probably like "wtf? She hasn't even mentioned it before" ...well, I don't really seem to write alot about what will happen >> -slaps self-
ANYWAY;
There was a bunch of confusion, and it turned out that
ScGeddon couldn't come with. Really sad. ;_;
After getting changed and gearing up for the concert, dressing up 'cause I wanted to challenge the "wearing funky clothing that will put yours to shame" in Freezepop Forever, ...me,
gamesama, my sis and her friend drove to Lund. We talked and my sister's friends were feeling generous and got us some drinks. They were showing Cosplay Encyclopedia while DJ TOYOTA played Electro-pop. So of course there was some talk about cosplay and such. Woot. And then there was a loooot of waiting around, first for the support band, Disko Dictator, and then Freezepop Main-attraction-liek-whoa. Just before they went out on stage my sister talked with a friend, who doubled-in on DD, about the members of Freezepop and he suggested I should come with him backstage and talk with them myself. So in I went, but just got the chance to talk with Liz E. It was kind of hurried and brief but we cheered her on.
The performance was really good! They started out with Bike Thief which made Candy happy-happy-hyper. Then there was a bunch of old songs mixed with some from the new album. When they had finished and went off-stage there was a bunch of people (me included) who chanted "ONE MORE SONG, ONE MORE SONG~!" and so they came back. I shouted for them to play Science Genius Girl which they did after a bunch of "maybe.. maybe.. heh". And they did Photographic too before calling it a day.
When we were collecting our stuff I went out to sign up on the mailing list, but I saw the price for all four of their CD's (it was like $43) and... ugh, major angst, I just couldn't not buy them. So asking my sisters performer friend, again, I borrowed the money and bought the CD's. Which is even bigger angst since I have zero money, but no problem really, -confused- it seems, since I've gotten hired (probably) for a dirty-dirty work at Luft kastellet. Whoa though. CD's signed with lovely autographs and I got to huggle both Liz Enthusiasm and the Duke of pannekoeken, whiles the other Sean t. Drinkwater shook my hand and asked for my name. Hah, a bit of a fangirly moment there. They were really friendly and 'specially Sean who talked to me about their systems (e.g. the Yamaha QY-70) and how Freezepop works. Argh. I forgot to ask him why he had started out the evening with wearing about 5 tee-shirts. XD
On another note, I luffs
gamesama. Thank you for a great night out! I had loads of fun!
oh, and I'll post pictures/signed CD/blah later. If anyone wants to see 8D -has no idea if there are any Freezepop fans on flist-.
I'll post some more Praise love tomorrow probably. Oh and wow. I might be one of the luckiest guys around. Or something like that. I owe it to all of you. Thank you... yeah.. just thank you for existing. Everyone of you are so very speshul. <3
