So had another dream last night (this morning actually) that only lasted about 30 minutes, between me waking up to turn off the alarm and getting up a little while later. A SUPER NERDY DREAM.

This dream was set in a place remotely similar to the world of Spira in Final Fantasy X, but with a dash of Avatar in that you could ride flying reptiles. There was also a Chrono Trigger/Cross element of me being able to travel between time-lines!

I was on a mission to retrieve some information about a man for a owner of a bar next to a coastal city when I was having great trouble controlling my flying beast through some time-jump. This guy that looked like Auron (FFX) showed up randomly, appearing from thin air, standing on the beasts neck as I was clinging to it, and steered it straight. He made it fly in-between cliffs and rock formations, just above the foam of the waves! Finally he got onto a ship docked next to a cliff and waved goodbye with a greeting to the man that had given me the mission. Returning to the bar in the right time-line to report my findings and handing over some things, the barkeep agreed that it must have been the man he was looking for. Adding the new information into the pile of things he had collected he signed the back of a white paper with a name, I dunno if it was his own name or the name of the man he was searching for... but I remember clearly what he wrote, as well as the fact that I could read it in my dream.

Read something like Michael but was pronounced differently, and with difficulty!
The barkeep looked like a older and more casual Braska (FFX), but somehow I was quite sure that the name on the back of the paper was his... but oddly enough pronounced closer to that of "Maechen" (a scholar in FFX). And just as I was trying to figure it out, I woke up.....

It's the first time I've remembered text so vividly in a dream. Especially of the made up kind. It's like a mix between Greek and Einstein! It's also interesting to note that I haven't played FFX in forever, and have hardly spent any waking(!) thoughts on it. The mind works in mysterious ways...
