Academia and such...
Well, today has been pretty uneventful. I've been poring over "The Insider's Guide to the Colleges" all day. Basically, the point is to see how many colleges I'm looking to apply to, and requesting applications from all these colleges. So far, I think I'm going to apply to :
• James Madison U.
• Marshall U.
• WVU
• University of Pittsburgh
• Penn State
• University of Charleston
• Bridgewater College
• Ohio State
• North Carolina State
I think that's about it. I already applied for Marshall online, so I wonder how long it will take for my acceptance letter to come. My main priority is visiting all these colleges, because that's going to take awhile and I don't have much time. I really want to visit NC State, it seems like a beautiful school. All in all, if I don't make the Yeager Scholars program at Marshall, I'll probably end up going to James Madison. It's my first love when it comes to colleges, and I'll be able to go home if something happens. I just think that OSU will be too big for me. College has been a pain in my ass, and I'm not even THERE yet.
