Lustron homes being "given away", not really,
-Saturday: while working on my wood floors, a splinter of wood lodged itself under my R thumbnail and broke off. I had to go to the Redi-Care to have it removed. My nail had to be cracked and lifted off. It fucking hurt.
-I must say, on first listen, I did not like Morissey's new "Ringleader of Tormentors" album. However, after approx. 10 listens at high volume, I have changed my mind. "You Have Killed Me" is downright danceable, and "Life is a Pigsty" is one of the most melodramatically lush and powerful songs I've ever heard him do. The rain sound effect is particularly lovely. When he gets it right, he gets it right. I hope he tours here.
-The film The Proposition for which !Nick Cave! wrote the screenplay is due to be released soon. Soundtrack is available now, looking forward to that.
-I suddenly became obsessed with feathered hats. Bid on a few on ebay. They are old old old, so we'll see what condition they reach me in.
