[Aerith? How in the world...Leon said she'd gone home, but she's here. It's like with Hope, only that...Aerith doesn't seem to remember being here before.]

Leon, Sora, and Yuffie are here. They'll be happy to see you came back.

[....sorry, Lightning. Aerith will be staring at you for a couple of moments, she could've sworn she saw Cl--wait, did the other girl just say Leon, Sora, and Yuffie's name?]

[That was a relief. It was good to know her friends were okay, too. However, the last part caught her attention, she couldn't help begin to feel awfully curious.]

[That clinches it. Aerith doesn't remember being in Johto. Lightning sighs now, shaking her head.]

Exactly what it sounds like. You were here before, and you vanished not long ago. Leon can explain it better.

Right. [All of this was very confusing, and was getting even stranger by the minute. Aerith thought about her situation a little more, then she slowly turns her attention back at the other women.] Is it...normal for people to vanish, and return without any memories?

People have disappeared without warning before and sometimes, they come back. But I can't say I've heard of anyone returning without their memories after being here for a while.

Well, you know now someone who does. [Laughs softly.] Hopefully, I'll be the only one you know with this problem. It feels horrible to forget...

[Just the thought of what she might have forgotten didn't sit well with her, even if she could easily make new memories. Maybe. Maybe there was a way to remember what she's forgotten, if she jogged her memory enought. A polite smile will quickly appear on her lips, she was going to try the idea.]

[Nod. She didn't know Aerith at all, but would have preferred that the other woman kept her memories. Losing something like that...it can't be easy.]

[Wait. Did they know each other before? Aerith can't help wonder if she should introduce herself or not. Again, oh well. They'll have to start over.]

We talked a couple times before you vanished, but that's it. [It's strange, really, considering how close to Leon she's gotten but she doesn't know either of his sisters that well.]

[It was strange to think how they weren't friends when she was still around. Somehow it sorta bugged her a bit, but she was sure there was a reason behind it.]

[Lightning really does remind her of Cloud. At first, it was just the face, but her personality sorta matches with his. Aerith couldn't help feel a little amused.]

Good. It would be pretty disappointing if we didn't get along before. [Clasps her hands together.] Let's start over. You're friends with Leon, and...we could get to know each other a little more. You really do seem like an interesting person. So, how about it? Hm?

[She nods happily. Clearly happy by the idea of making a possible new friend. Aerith doesn't have a lot of girl friends.]

[Neither does Lightning, but her excuse is that she doesn't really get along with people. Aerith is...has a different one.]

Violet City. It's about two weeks from where you are if you take it at a decent pace.

I see. [Her attention will be on the paper map in front of her. Hmmm, seems it'll take her a while to meet Lightning in person. Oh well, there isn't much she can do about it.] Then I better get a move on to the next town if I ever want to reach you. You aren't planning on moving on any time soon, right?
