More babble about vacation
It's beautiful today! Eric couldn't sleep last night, so when Finn woke at 5, we watched 'Melmo' and then went looking for coffee. I had to drive to the next town and have some terrible grocery store coffee. I'm such a snob. :) Finn and I played in the parking lot and in Safeway, but he mainly just wanted to play with the car. :/ hehe. We came back into town and I tried to show him the ocean, but he didn't seem to really understand that it was impressive. We walked around some more and found a disability ramp to run up and down. He was happy about that. My leg is feeling good, but seems to get sore when I carry him much or use it in a way I haven't in the last few weeks. I know some of that must be normal and I'm not too worried, but it makes me sad when he and I are running around and I think of not being able to do it with him for some reason. :/ I try just to not let my mind go there, but so many of my joints hurt and I can't help but have my moments of panic about the future.
We got back and Eric had been awake. We delivered the banana bread we had waited so long for (the local shop didn't open until 9) and got kisses from daddy. Then it was back out to play with Finn on more ramps, fountains, puddles and stairs while mom and dad peaked into art galleries. Now we are back home and Finn is taking his nap. We are watching a sun stroked high tide and Eric will go pick up Thai for us in a minute.
