I had an exam yesterday with some surprise essay questions. Nice! I think it went well, but we shall see when the grading is finished. I also had two mini-papers and a research paper due this week. Hooray for school! AAAACK! Truthfully, I plan ahead in ways that would make you want to smack me and I do enjoy my time spent in school. I've organized my schedule so I do a significant amount of work on weeknights, while Finn is in preschool and while the sitter is here four hours a week.
I elected the book for club this last month and it was terrrrible. Not just a little terrible, but AWFUL. Only three of us actually finished the book and we spent approximately five minutes discussing. None of us were certain what had actually happened during significant portions of the plot let alone the ending. The good news is we ate Sarah's delicious vegan cookie dough cookies (which I think are essentially eggless cookie dough) and told life stories. I had a blast, but in case you are curious about the book:

Back-to-school night provided a heartfelt discussion among teachers about development. I think I've made the right choice of primary schools for Finn. My aunt is moving to England and I'm planning our trip to visit before she has her visa. I tried to eat a warm chocolate brownie the size of my head and failed. Tomorrow is Kelly's birthday and we will go to our regular worship of free weights at the fitness temple and I will aim to embarrass her thoroughly. I live for it!
