Finn woke up at quarter to 5 saying his ears hurt. If his sleep troubles continue for another couple weeks then I might have to think about changing our sleeping arrangement. I'm not sure what exactly is causing him to miss sleep, wake up and have insomnia and wake up so early.
I stayed up late reading A Fine Balance
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Fine_Balance, so morning came way, way, way too early for me.
With that said, we had a nice morning. We sat at Starbucks having breakfast and playing planes. We returned library books, got leaf bags for our immense number of leaves. Finn got a froggy key chain and some dried blueberries. We went to Bellevue Square where all the stores were closed, but the mall was open. Finn loves the elevator and all the ramps. The boat we usually play on was gone, BUT! There was a HUGE new enclosed children's play area with a ferry boat, lighthouse and a sandcastle. Taken from my phone:
Now we are back home only for a short time before heading to Kidsquest
http://www.kidsquestmuseum.org/ for Sebastien's birthday party. I'm not sure how long Finn (or I) will make it. Not even caffeine seemed to cut my blurry eyes this morning.
Tomorrow is my morning to sleep... and sleep I will. :) Then it's off to work at the Tree Top open to close. Tonight we are having a childless couple over for dinner. We haven't done this for a while... for a reason. Finn will be ALL OVER THEM. I warned them, but they have no idea how much they are about to play. Hopefully they enjoy it and Finn heads to bed so the grownups can play. What do you think my chances are? ;)
