Finally Finn has caught on to using nice words such as please and thank you. Here are his favorite ways to use them:
"Please-a-mama, no night-night."
"Please-a-mama, show."
"Please-a-mama, [out]side."
"Please-a-mama, cookie."
"Please-a-mama, no bath."
I want to encourage his politeness (as opposed to screaming at me or pushing me), but how do I reward his kind manners while still saying no? So far, I thank him for his politeness and then re-direct him or set a boundary... and I try not to laugh at his coy attempts at manipulation.
