Give Me Archive or Give Me Death
You know, part of the reason I'm here at LiveJournal is because I had to divorce my old community. Which community was that, you might ask? SuicideGirls. Le sigh. I have been on SG for five years. I met my husband on that site. I almost got fired from a job over that site. There were years where I would post almost every single day on that site. Le sigh.
It was time for me to move on.
So I handed the divorce papers over for their signature, over a month ago, and they still haven't signed. In SG parlance, you request to be archived. I submitted such a request, and they said, "please don't go," and I said, "I must." So now they're playing the maybe-if-i-pretend-it's-not-real-it-won't-be game. That's kind of sad.
It's also kind of messed up. When I resolve to make a somewhat major change, I want my wishes to be respected. I don't want this stuff to drag on and on. Bastards.
