When I first proposed the idea of a Manhattan Restoration Committee, I hadn't intended to give people the idea that asking for what we don't have is a good idea.
Oh.. Mmm Well back at my home in Radiant Garden we had a Restoration Committee that was dedicated to restoring the former glory of the town. I thought this place could use the same treatment. though, I didn't follow through with it.
Maybe it would be a good idea anyway... I'll need to talk to Mia again.
Ahh, I see. Yeah, it does seem kinda strange in this situation. 'Course, if it's all about bartering goods or services, that ain't so bad...for example, you're a doctor or somethin', right? If I've got myself a nasty scrape or the like, you'd fix me up just fine. In return, I think it's fair to give you...say...a pair of forceps I found that I don't need, or maybe I could fix your toaster.
I dunno. I guess they've got a point, but you're right that payment in cash - if that's what people'd ask for - ain't exactly the kind of restoration we need right now.
I've only heard of people charging money, so it makes me wonder..
I understand what you mean, and I guess it could work, I just... it's not something I agree with here. If someone needs wounds healed, do they expect me to refuse unless a payment plan has been reached? I don't want to work like that.
