[One Aerith Gainsborough is making her way through the village, her white arrival dress sticking to her uncomfortably, and looking rather put-out.  The journal she has is held tightly to her chest, though every now and then she'll peer down at it.   She seems to be looking for something, and will occasionally peep in someone's house window.]

[But... she's in a white dress... why is she a New Feather...?]

[She turns quickly, expecting to see someone familiar like Leon or Cid, and while disappointed to find that she doesn't recognize this man, she smiles lightly.]

That's me. And you are?

[....Oh. Oh god, she doesn't know him. This is-

...Wait, how can she not know him? She looks older than she did when they'd met back when he was in SOLDIER... had her memory been tampered with?]

You, uh... you don't remember me...?

[radiantblossom]

[She looks at him seriously, scrutinizing, almost as if she were trying to remember him before shaking her head.]

I'm sorry. [She feels bad for forgetting someone, though she can't recall ever meeting him.] Where did we meet?

[...Weird... something's definitely not right. But he can't put his finger on it...] Naw, don't worry about it. Pretty sure you'd remember this face if you'd met me! [It might sound egotistical, but the sentiment remains; he doubted Aerith would have forgotten their meeting in the church.

...It's... really heartbreaking. Is this how she'd felt when Cloud forgot her?]

Pretty sure I won't forget it now. [She gives him a soft smile.]

How about a name to go with that face?

[...Ha... same old Aerith.]

I'm Zack.

[She holds out one of her hands to shake his.]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Zack. What world are you from?

World? [He blinks at her, though he has the sense to take her hand to shake it.] Oh, somebody's already explained it to you, huh? Well, it'll probably surprise you, but I come from Gaia...

Gaia? [Here she shows some confusion, and shakes her head.] I'm... I've never heard of Gaia.

[......Wat.] You... what? Where are you from, then? [N-no way, this can't be-]

[That's a strange reaction.] Radiant Garden, though I spent some time Traverse Town. [S-She's so confused. D=]

Radiant- [OH GOD THAT'S WHAT IT IS.] Hey, you're Cloud's Aerith, aren't you? [And now he feels really silly. And oddly relieved.]

[Cloud's Aerith? Oh goodness. She blushes.] You know Cloud? Is he here?

[Gah, why are you not his Aerith. That blush is cute enough to kiss. D|] Yeah, Cloud's here. I'm sure he'll be happy to see you, too.

[She looks away momentarily, composing herself, before jokingly saying;] He better be. Just look at how far I've had to go to find him, and in the pouring rain!
