I have a question.

During those two days when the phones wouldn't stop ringing, and got we got calls from people outside of Mayfield, did any of you… talk to someone who's dead?

Not personally, but EVPs aren't terribly uncommon, so I'm not too surprised by that.

Electronic Voice Phenomenon. It's where voices from the dead can be heard over phones, radios, or recorded tapes.

Does that include conversations, or just a recording of the ghost voice?

Actually, the conversations happen more than the recording, since the EVPs can happen at any time and there might not necessarily be a microphone recording.

Gotcha. Honestly, though, it felt pretty much like a normal phone conversation.

Whoever you were talking to probably didn't realize that he or she was dead. Unfortunately, that's also very common when it comes to spirits.

Actually, he did know he was dead. He wanted to know about some of the things that happened after.

When I said normal, I meant more as in it felt like there was a real, live person on the other end of the line.

The only time I've heard of that happening is when the spirit has a particularly strong will. It must have been a very important question for him.

You got that right. Although I think he already knew the answer. If he hadn't, he wouldn't have done what he did.

I wouldn't know about that, then. But still, keep an eye out around the house. He might still be there in some form or another.
