auntie?!? i'm a little young for that.
so.
yesterday i went to westside Christian academy and worked at the day camp with derek, nate, jen, kateri, and doug.
oh my.
it was so cool.
there are a bunch of kids that come every day. they're split up into four groups by age. me, derek, jen, kat, and doug worked with group 3- mostly 3-5th graders. we did lots of different activities... yeah. it was tiring, but so awesome. we went to the park for recess, and it was hot, but these kids didn't even care. i mostly stuck with a few of the girls- kamari, tuesday, chantelle, carmel, and bianca. it was crazy cool.
these girls do "step", like dancing and beats and stuff... wow. they were so good!! the one girl, indigo, was kinda the leader besides the teacher (who was only 13). and they were exclusive, it was crazy. they're like "you have to be VIP to watch... kamari you can't watch, just because miss kristi is your new best friend." but she got to stay with me anyway. they're doing a dance to an usher song, and they were so good!! it was cool. i wish they could take dance classes. that would just make them so happy.
so. yeah.
went to derek's afterwards (listened to MAE on the way home, my new obsessionnn) and we ate pizza and stuck our feet in the pool. went to Bible study, which was really good. then went back to derek's and went swimming with a buncha kids. good times. :)
tonight is the AMERICAN IDOL CONCERT. :D yesssss! that shall be fun.
i might be going back to west side tomorrow, it's their field trip day to the ZOO... :D so who knows.
