ohhhhh i'm exhausted... but i love break.
alrighty then. so i'm back in arizona... the past few days have been CRAZY and fun, and i don't want break to end...
well let's see. monday we went to the wildlife park. that was pretty cool. we went on a train around and saw all these crazy animals (from a large distance), like giraffes and lots of cattle like things, zebras, tigers, lions, goats, LoL random stuff. we walked around the park for the rest of the day and visited certain exhibits. we fed these lorekeet birds.... you have this nectar in a cup, and they land on your arms and stuff, it was sweet. i had two on my arm sharing the whole cup, LoL. we went home after, ate dinner, repacked, hung out, etc...
we woke up early on tuesday... we left around 7, i think. for UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD. oh man. it was so cool. we got there and did valet parking (because we're lazy). it was FRANKENSTEIN valet, and i smiled. :) we went into the park and headed straight for the studio tour. we basically got in line, waited 5 minutes, and got on a bus. we headed off... it was the coolest thing. we went by the city part, where they tape in SOOO many movies. the clips they showed on the bus were mostly from bruce almighty (they show clips from movies of the places you're going by). they had movie advertising posters, and surprisingly had two WICKED posters along the way (because it's univeral sponsored). we saw the who-ville town from the grinch. we went through a king kong part and an earthquake part. we saw a water set that they use in seriously, like EVERY movie, LoL. there's too much, i can't name it all... we drove down mysteria lane, from desperate housewives. we were lucky, they weren't taping that day. we saw a big plane crash set that's going to be in "war of the worlds" this summer, so that was sweet. we went past this place where they were filming a tv pilot. the whole experience was AWESOME!! right after that we went to the shrek 4d show, it was cute and fun. next, my mom and dad went on the "mummy" roller coaster. then me, my mom, and my dad went on jurassic park water ride, FUN. :) we ate lunch, then me, my mom, and my brother went to the terminator 3d show, that was really cool. next was the back to the future ride, which i love. and then... well, then we were done. there were some special effect shows, etc, but we were pretty much done. so... we headed out. we went to universal walk for a few minutes, i went in the billabong store and the boardriders club store thing, and a few others, but only ended up buying a SWEET hello kitty pez dispenser. :D drove drove drove drove drove to the hotel, slept.
woke up... drove more... drove... finally ended up at the grand canyon.
wow.
we took a bus around to different stops, got off, walked around. k, i was FREEZING... gah the wind was so cold. but it is so beautiful... like... wow. so many colors and stuff. it's just awesome. we did all that for like 2 hours... just going to different places and looking, taking pictures, etc... then we drove to another spot and watched the sun set... grand. grand grand grand. quote of the day: "yay God............. ok let's go." - my dad, after the sunset, LoL.
we drove to the hotel and went to sleep.
woke up this morning, went to the east rim of the canyon, looked more, etc, drove on... we stopped in this place called "slide rock", it's a water thing, and pretty rocks... i did some climbing, good stuff. we kept driving, stopped in montazuma's castle... these cave dwelling houses from thousands of years ago... really cool stuff. kept driving, ended up back here and my aunt and uncle's, ate dinner, watched the apprentice (WHY DID CHRIS NOT GET FIRED!?!? I AM SO ANGRY!!), repacked... whew. and now i'm beat.
tomorrow is CHILL day, until 4 or so, then we gotta go to the airport, and i'm coming home... i'm glad to come home, because i miss y'all. but i'm gonna miss the sun... and the rest. i mean, this week, i've got lots of tests, play practices, districts is wednesday... stress all over again. but i'm ready.
well, i'm out, sleep time... or at least, reading time.
