PARTY IN ROOM 300!!
this weekend... was AMAZING!! :D
alright, so we left friday after school. i skipped 8th hour and went home to get my stuff, and came back before we left. sat with my bus buddy erica. it was a long drive, but fun. we watched liar liar, ever after, and some of sister act 2. me and erica sang the michelle branch songs i had with me, WOO!! and i let her listen to my random mix cd... haha. we went to wendy's for dinner and got cool bibs. when we finally got to the hotel i was pretty tired. my room was courtney, jaci, erica, and me. we settled in, i called some people (scared mikey, haha), then we had a general meeting. after that i went back to the room, showered, put sponge curlers in, and went to sleep at 11 pm...
we woke up the next morning at 6. i got up, did my hair, got a cinnamon roll, did my makeup, played 20 questions with jaci's awesome lil game thing (IT KNEW WHAT I WAS THINKING!! :O). we all met downstairs, got on the bus, and headed to hersey.
once we got there, we all got changed, warmed up a lil, got ready, sat around... then we were brought into this hallway to wait for 10 minutes. then we went into the warm up room, practiced some stuff, etc. my nerves were getting to me but i tried to stay confidant and just have fun. our performance... was SO fun!! wow. it was great. everything went pretty well, 2 people fell down and heatwave got a lil messed up, but it happens. people were cheering and clapping, it was great. however, we had not yet seen the competition.
THE PEOPLE THERE LIVE SHOWCHOIR. THEY BREATHE, EAT, AND SLEEP IT! it's so crazy. they were all SO good. there was an all guys showchoir from cali that blew me away. the all girl's choirs were great too. then the afternoon... the mixed choirs... AMAZING!! two groups did wicked songs, one was alright, the other was GRAND! they did defying gravity, which i've had stuck in my head since yesterday. great, lol. so anyways, lunch was good. we went and watched tara's solo. we went back into the competition part and sat down, and this other school from ohio came and sat by us. "he was leaning on my knees!!" LoL they were hilarious, we had a dance party in the bleachers. they invited us to go to their party on their floor/ in room 300. haha. too bad we couldn't go. so we did the awards thing and all that and went back to the hotel...
when we got back, we changed into bathing suits and went swimming. i slid down this railing and skinned my knee at the bottom (OW) but i conquered it later, hehe. the hot tub was so nice. then we got changed and went to eat some PIZZA. yumm. after pizza we sat by the pool, then me and erica went to emily, stephanie, laura, and jaquie's room!! "FLYING TURTLES", "lobster", "did you guys put confetti in my underwear?" HAHA amazing. oh me and erica went to this crazy vending machine that is refigerated, and inside there were like bbq wings, hamburgers, and pizza and stuff like that. you heat it up. LoL it was so gross. we peeked in to the 3rd floor but no one was there. :( at curfew we went back, flipped channels like 3508257 times and there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on. then we went to sleep.
the chaperones woke us up at 3:30 this morning... maybe 3:15... anyways. we got up, packed up everything that wasn't already packed, and waited... then got on the bus. i fell asleep pretty quick listening to aaron sprinkle. i woke up when we stopped for breakfast, 3 hours and a time different later. had hash browns and a nutri grain for breakfast, yumm, LoL. we got back on the bus, i listened to music and watched mrs. doubtfire, etc... and then we were home already.
i went to church for the ending of it, and the missions trip meeting, came home, ate lunch, unpacked.. now i'm here.
so it was a grand weekend! faves this weekend = erica, courtney, jaci, jaquie, laura, emily, stef, jessie, and random people from room 300... hahahahah... amazing.
today i'm thinking a lot about multiple... our first competition with erica is next week. we're not ready at all. and like... there's so much we need to work on, and change... i feel like we're not even good anymore. like... i dunno. i mean, i know 5th place last weekend wasn't bad, but "gun" improved really fast, so we have to improve. i feel like we haven't gotten much better since the beginning of the season, and i just don't know how to make it better... so hopefully tomorrow we'll have practice or something, and uh... yeah. so i think today i'll watch the movie (FINALLY) and see if i can come up with any good ideas. congrats to all the dexter people this weekend!! i missed you guys!! but i did get to talk to some people this weekend, nick (indirectly, haha), mary, drew, mikey, scott, will... so that was good. but i can't wait to see you kids tomorrow.
