All of a sudden I realized that I never talk about anyone directly in my livejournal anymore. It occured to me to wonder why. And I think I've realized that prior to this, what with being in Croatia and all, a) no one would know how the fuck to pronounce the names and that's always a pain in the ass, imagining how the combination of letters "hrvoje" might sound when pronounced correctly, and b) Bjelovar was so small, bored and curious that had I mentioned names directly, somehow they would have found my shit online (via Google) and spread it around. I'm not joking. One afternoon after school a group of kids came running up to me and saying something about chat rooms and was it you? and I wondered, what the fuck, so I slowed them down to listen carefully to what they were saying. Turns out, some random kid in a Croatian chat room (yes, they exist) said that they were Tess in Bjelovar going to gimnazija (highschool) there and had a nice little chat with a teacher.

Now, why in sweet fuck's name would you ever..?

Anyway, all this leads up to my decision to have a new writing style, one where I actually work with more than just pronouns and use concrete names, because this whole side-stepping pronouns and descriptions thing pisses me off now.
