Whoa. I sorta forgot about LiveJournal.
It's been a while.
I guess I feel weird expressing my thoughts to the world.
Then again, maybe its just that I havent had time to post.
Lots of things have happened since June. Bad and good. Maybe more bad than good.
The worst is Buttons. She hung on as long as she could.
That was back in October.
Anyway, I'm not going to say that Im gonna keep this thing updated because I know I wont.
I bought this really nice $12 journal to write in. And I've only written in it twice and I've had it for a couple of months.
I thought I'd post about that Grammys though.
This annual event is sorta like the Superbowl at my house.
We all tune it year after year...no matter how much it sucked the year before.
It'll remind me again tonight just how much I'm thankful that I'm into indie stuff.
Who needs a freakin Grammy? Who even deserves one?

First off, I thought it was sickening that Paul is even nominated with these guys. I mean, these are young kids and they're up against one of the most amazing, powerful, huge, BEST songwriters that ever existed. He's in a league way above that. And the sad part is...I doubt he'll win it.
Then I started thinking about it from a whole other perspective. No matter who wins...it doesnt mean anything. They had a good year. Thats all. The fact that Paul is grouped with these guys shows that the man still has it. He's still got it goin' on. He can run with the young boys on the pop charts. That's awesome!! Congrats to Paul.
Who I think WILL win: John Legend
Who I think SHOULD win: Sir Paul, of course.
BEST POP PERFORMANCE BY A DUO OR GROUP:
Nominees:
-My Humps
The Black Eyed Peas
-I Will Follow You Into The Dark
Death Cab For Cutie
-Over My Head (Cable Car)
The Fray

Keane
-Stickwitu
The Pussycat Dolls
Again, all different leagues here. We've got some manufactured pop kitties along with some guys who started indie and turned huge.
Who I think WILL win: Black Eyed Peas
Who I think SHOULD win: KEANE
And I know you're all SO disappointed but thats all I have time for. :)
