Well... now we know.
I interrogated some guys. Okay, a lot of guys. There are a lot of guys in the city to interrogate. Fortunately, most of them tend to bleed if they move, so it's not hard to convince them to stay put and talk a little.
I found someone who saw Gorlim. Well... I found a LOT of someones who saw Gorlim. Most of them are currently unable to walk and forming coherant sentences wasn't too easy for them either. I basically described Gorlim... tall guy, curly hair, broken arm, big sword... and their eyes would get really wide and they'd sort of whimper...
So I followed the trail of guys who had been killed in PARTICULARLY nasty ways and found some people who KNEW something.
It seems Gorlim left the city after the king died. And he wasn't alone. I'm told he went with a fairly large group, including one woman, some fellow someone told me was the king's right-hand man and possibly by right the true king now... and some Elves and foreign-looking men who killed people in similarly nasty ways.
Gorlim's not the type to run away from a battle. And nobody knows where all these guys were going.
