Workin on the Highway

Aaahahh. yeah. so the Boss rocked my world and i assume the world's of the other thousands who packed PNC park in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. I got the Born in the Usa album when i was about 7 and have been hooked ever since. the culmination of 18 years of waiting and longing . . . and i ended up dancing on a fully lit baseball field with a bunch of other excited people - one of the most surreal experiences of my life He's still a rock star - pole dancing on the mike stand, sliding on his knees down the stage, openly trying to engage his wife in a lil bump and grind - Ty remarked he could hear the collective sigh of many a woman as he pranced that cuteness all over the stage.
what else? shopping has seemed to rule my existence lately and i am now the proud owner of ************* Doc fuckin' Martens ******************** for 30$ dollars at Gabe's. I felt like such a bad ass buying those combat boots and a lace up red brocade bustier - the goth years are a'coming back. More shopping at the aptly named "Greatest Garage Sale on Earth" - a paisley hanky, Alice Walker novel, Morgan Llewelyn novel, T. Cohangeson Boyle novel. I also picked up a radiohead cd and a chris issack cd for a 1$ each. Nothing like bargain shopping and braggin about it later. :)
I know i still need to get a picture. Perhaps honey and i will work at it after we wake up for real.
