A Scout Chaplain's Prayer
Great and Holy Spirit of Scouting, as I go through my day an night time travels:
Every day may my aging eyes and ears still be able to pick upon anything that needs attention.
Deign that I have the wisdom to act in ways most effective and appropriate to each situation we are challenged by.
Guide my thoughts and actions that I might lead others by example to the lives You wish us to lead.
Ever may my words not only ring with truth, but may they also ring in harmony with the hearts of those who hear them.
