Boot review!
OMG Boots!
So, Goodgoth.com is fabulous! It is one of the old school goth shops, and please to be going there for your own dose of fabulous if you have not visited recently :>
Now, the boots. They are, in fact, made by Pleaser- just a new brand line from the company. So, your size from Pleaser, and your general opinion of the fit of Pleaser/Demonia shoes will hold true. I bought them in a nine, and I usually wear a 9.5 and they were fine. Arch support. Nada.
I added Dr. Scholls arch inserts, with special firm support and still the arch of the shoe doesn't touch my foot. Ha ha ha! Other than that, they are soft, flexible and comfortable shoes. The buttons are brilliant- they are attached to the shoe with elastic, giving them extra super flexibility. I have large calves, and just moving two buttons at the top makes them happily wearable. The lining of the boots is gorgeous, but doesn't breathe- be aware that your feet will sweat. I am very glad the boots are open in the front because boots that feel hot in a 70 degree room? Clearly I am used to all leather shoes, lol.
So, all in all, they are fabulous and perfect for costume wear. I will have to say that for walking/standing/long days they are just not practical due to lack of arch support. However, for working at a desk all day? Perfection!
