Has anyone else seen Avatar yet?  What did you think of it?  I went to see it this afternoon and I enjoyed it, but I wasn't blown away by it.  It was visually impressive even without seeing it in 3D, the colors and landscapes, etc., were stunning, but the story just seemed... I'm a sucker for animated kid's movies and I really like the Pixar ones.  This one looks really cute.  It's too bad we don't live near each other Marta so we could go see it together! :)

but I doubt it'll come to my town anytime soon, if ever!  I'm sure I'll have to wait for the DVD.  One of the bad things about living in a smallish town.  I read about this months ago and have been waiting for it eagerly and I see they're getting it out just in time for the Oscars! :)  I was drawn to it because Viggo was in it, of course... I went to see The Lake House today and I really enjoyed it. It was different than I thought it would be and Keanu was nice to look at! :) I still want to see Lady of the Lake. It just looks intriguing to me, but scary, too ( Read more... )

A friend and I just spend a couple of hours watching Sharpe videos. Sean Bean is so gorgeous! The movies are a mix of interesting stories and stuff that makes us laugh, but then Sean comes on the screen and we just melt. We have a lot more of them to watch... thank goodness!
