MEME
I haven't done a MEME - or anything else on here! - for a long time, I thought I do this one!
The Rules:
1. People who have been tagged must write the answers on their blog and replace any question they dislike with a new, original question. (Okay, anybody I tag, feel free to ignore!
2. Tag five people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.
Tagging does not obligate you in the slightest! However, since The Rules say I must tag people: marta , ainu_laire, astromist , blslarner , and runnerbeast . And I don't know why, but LJ is randomly italicizing things. *scratches head*
1. Make a list of 5 things you can see without getting up.
-One of my cats staring at me through the slider begging me to get up and letting him in. :)
-A giant ladybug pillow my niece got me for Christmas.
-My picture of Aragorn that my best friend drew for me.
-My Kindle!
-Rows of DVDs lining the shelves.
2. How do you style your hair?
I have a perm so I mostly just pick it out and let it air dry!
3. What are you wearing now?
Blue jeans and a long sleeved sweater.
4. What's your occupation?
Elementary School Teacher - Librarian.
5. What do you hear right now?
The furnace just kicked on.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
A friend.
7. What is/was for dinner?
A turkey club sort of sandwich from DQ with a Blizzard... not real healthy.
8. What did you do today?
Taught a bunch of children and then came home and chilled out by reading and messing around online!
9. Dog person or cat person?
I like both, but I only have cats right now because they're easier to leave when I travel.
10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
I wouldn't... I like my name.
11. What was the last thing you bought?
Well, I guess it would be dinner... but I bought a new book last night for my Kindle.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Europe.
13. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Still teaching, but probably at a different school and with the way the economy is I imagine that I will have to move to a classroom. I think teacher - librarians will be replaced by aides.
14. Favorite book-to-movie adaptation?
LoTR, definitely.
15: What are you doing this weekend?
Laundry! My water heater went out and now we found other problems and so I'm having to have my pipes replaces so I have NO hot water in my house. So, I'll be going to a friend's place to get caught up.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
The Piano! I took lessons for awhile as a kid but then we moved and I never had a chance to continue, I just think it would be fun.
17. To U or not to U? Favourite, Colour etc
No, I don't like adding the letter 'u' into words... it's a British convention, not an American one, so I don't use it.
18. What are you doing tomorrow?
Working, going to a meeting... getting up really early to go to a friend's house to take a shower! :)
19. What are you looking forward to the most?
Right now? Having hot water! But then having spring break in a few weeks and my Alaskan cruise this summer!
