Digital Camera
I ordered my new camera last night! I ended up getting a Canon Powershot A620. Consumer Reports gave it a high rating and then a web site that Rhapsody pointed me to raved about it. (Thanks, Rhapsody!) It is hard to find locally, in fact checking at Circuit City, Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, etc., they were sold out and the best price I could find was at Amazon which was amazing to me. Anyway, it should be here by Friday. It has 7.1 pixels and it has a flip out LCD panel which I thought was wonderful for taking pictures.
My biggest question now is whether or not to buy a different printer. I have a laser printer that I use to print out all of my fanfic because I print out almost everything that I read. But, when I bought my Dell computer it came with a color scanner fax copier machine that I rarely use because the only place you can get the ink is online and it's expensive. I'm wondering if it would be cheaper in the long run to purchase a new color copier (I never used the scanner stuff anyway) just so I can buy the ink locally. Consumer Reports recommended some nice ones for about $150. Well, I have some time to think about and look into what's out there. I know that this time of year there is a lot of specials with kids going back to school and needing computer equipment.
