Otter Marmot Identity Crisis Partial
Trying to figure out my plan for a partial suit-
My friends say I look and act like an otter. I feel like and personally prefer marmots (for the record, my favorite animals are Marmot, beaver, otter in that order- plus cats). Unfortunately, I am 6'3" so even my height is against marmot-ness.
So.. I am now wondering if there is some way to plan a head that is "reversible"- i.e. can be changed from marmot to otter by swapping a few removable pits (bucky teeth for canines, thin, sparse whiskers for thick, drooping ones, etc.). Of course, now that I've started looking at otters and alpine marmots (among the tallest/most imposing of chucks) I'm beginning to think the head structure is way too different. Also, the fur color could be a medium gold brown, but the textures of the two animals' furs are quite different.
Anyway, I'm linking the thoughts for the first otter incarnation and some doodles of marmot and otter heads and my lousy attempt at finding a hybrid base for an either-way head. Any ideas/thoughts would be great!
