Or, you recall some things you may have forgotten.
While perusing through the Zappa biography (Marsh) I was given over the Holiday, I came across the detailed description of The Hot Rats album (1969)
Now honestly, I'd never have remebered this from the title alone, but the explanation was so descript it triggered a sudden memory. My Uncle (who was an avid Zappa fan) had this LP, and I really was pretty facsinated by the cover art. I always liked to look through his records as a kid, and see all the photography, drawings and artwork but I really dug the look of that one. I still do today...a lot. The cover, the contrast, the colours, and that sinister but demure look of the girl crawling out of the pool, abstractly and fully dressed. Not in a bikini but with glammy attire on! Pretty funny how even at 6 or 7 we covet things, and we know what we like. I later used to listen to his albums too, but that's another story for another time.
Hmm..I wonder how much my Godchild and his siblings remember of my LP and CD collection?
