About the ONLY journalist I can think of who (along with his producers) is going out on a limb to let us know about the status of the investigation into 'possible' vote count report inaccuracies. Why shouldn't we be privy to this? Is was our Election right to make sure every persons vote COUNTED, and was counted effectively? For any parties protection I think it should be done.
Hey, if anyone needed another reason to realize that this has been a bad year for freedom of speech (Stern being fined for things he said A DECADE AGO, etc.) Here it is. In fact today it was announced that an approximated 16 ABC affiliates are NOT going to air "Saving Private Ryan" this evening in honour of Veteran's Day. They cite strong language and violence, graphic nature, etc. which might I suppose piss off the FCC.(Okay, we knew years ago it is a WWII movie, right? ) At any rate, I guess it is more important for the stations sponsors to be able to sell diapers, candy, and cling-wrap to the "morally aware" viewers, than it is to air it for the rest of us. Can't those oh-so-morally aware bastards just change the channel, or keep shopping at their beloved Walmart as per usual??
