To Samuel (is that right?): What was the real reason for giving up?
Man--that's naming a character that most of these guys never even knew--you're showing your age:). You reach a point where everything that you've worked for crumbles around you. Your Allies and Foes alike are gone and you feel completely adrift. Samuel lost his anchor and truly saw no hope for building a lasting future.
To Alexander: Why did you never assume praxis? Alexander was truly content to be a power behind the throne. He didn't WANT to pull the rug out from under Laurel, in fact, enjoyed her taking the fall for a number of his schemes. I find it very telling that it was in his single bid for public power that his downfall came about.
To Coyotol: Did you and Isaac eventually hunt down Laurel's sire? And if so, what did you do to him? Unfortunately, Coyotol met his demise (I believe the actual phrasing was that he entered a shadow and never came out)--no test, you're dead, try again. So unfortunately, that thread could not be realized.
To Jon: Why did you not just rid yourself of Hannah? Or leave the city (i guess that should read leave sooner, since you did leave, right?) Hannah had a number of solid supporters. Honestly, it was more fun turning her own Nosferatu against her and she was a worthy opponent. She kept Jon on his toes in a city that, truthfully, was entirely too easy to manipulate and control. Once Jon was able to overcome his 'illness' and realized the enormity of his sins, it just about crushed him. Neci was the only rock that kept him afloat and became the single most important person in his life (last 2-3 sessions). In fact, it was because of her that he finally left--giving up any notion that the city was worth it and leaving it in the hands of a 'beautiful figurehead more concerned with throwing parties than getting her hands dirty'...if I remember Neci's quote right there:)
Coyotol: Why did you have Isaac kill Malifeo? It seemed somehwat pointless at the time, especially considering how Isaac didn't really understand he was killing malifeo.
Malifeo was a very poor student and repeated the same mistakes time and again. I was willing to allow this to continue until he endangered one of mine and proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that his heart was not with the family (pun intended).

Why didn't you poke that pesky tremere once more, instead of letting him writhe on the floor?
