New writer, new user

Hi! I've been reading many of the lovely stories posted here and hated lurking without at least making myself known, so I created an account. I am still utterly confused about this site. Any pointers will be awesome. I have written my very first fanfiction. It is mostly based up the show Lost Girl and the character Tamsin. But, in a weird twist, I have intermingled it with Legend of the Seeker and the character Cara. These two ladies are my favorites! IT's rather long (160K) with one chapter left to post, so I will have to figure out if I can post it here or not. They are rated as mature or explicit.
