A Dream!
I was in a role-playing game, and I was some hero dude, but I didn't know how to do anything... I think I was getting set up for going out on some kind of adventure, but I ended up asking this girl to help me, and she liked me like the girl in War of the Flowers likes the guy, except she wasn't quite as obvious about it as that girl was, she was just being very helpful even though she was much better at the stuff she was helping me with than I was... I got a hat, and then she sent the hat off somewhere to improve my magical skills, and when the hat came back it had a note on it that said "it was dark, but I've managed to improve his magic 30 percent" and then I got these little flecked sheets of stone, and the girl put them in my inventory which was all niftily organized on the inventory screen...
