Goals 4
Late post on account of general malaise and labor day.. :/
Still nothing from any of the places I've applied, aside from Hot Cakes and the Sylvan Learning Center. The latter looks to be giving me some hours soon, and the former didn't hire me but didn't tell me that until I called just now :( I should hear something from the two coffee shops and the bagel place I applied to this week, but I'm not sure if I should expect much. I'll be callling the gym again later today, hearing back from the temp agency I haven't gotten in touch with pretty soon, and I have one or two more avenues I should get to pursuing I think.
Not much in the way of studying this week - I think I need to go back to school, by which I mean have set periods where I have 'classes' and set amounts of homework and that sort of thing. I don't seem to do well with wide-open scheduling and completion parameters, and I have plenty of ways to concretize my goals if I think a little more carefully about them than I have lately. Personal trainer stuff is as yet unfulfilled as well... :(
I completed all the workouts I'd planned to for the week, and my log continues.
I've narrowed down my linguistics stuff a bit - I have some colleges to check out and some research into the divisions of the discipline to go yet, but I'm feeling a bit better about it. The list big thing to check off on the list will be biting the bullet and starting to correspond with some people, I think..
