sick
never had that nightie party (probably a good thing), but ended up going to Boreal instead, which i've wanted to do for years. it's an amazing camping party up north on crown land, we all get there together by school bus and canoes, and set everything up for one night of hanging out by the fire and one night of dancing by the dj booth. i took my Hennessy Hammock and it was perfect for the rocky terrain as i was held up high by strong young trees. here's the flickr set.
since then i went on my bike tour (flickr set, twitter) to Halifax. When i returned i worked, of course, but also travelled to Harvest Festival (flickr set), which is probably the most beautiful festival in Ontario.
Critical Sass has been working on some new cheers for Halloween. I'm nervous because a bunch of us have been sick or too busy to come to practice, and I haven't seen our costumes yet (nun habits). I'm still coughing today and am wondering if i'll be able to stay out once it gets cold and late.
Oh I also saw Gossip a few weeks ago with wooltam and was pleasantly surprised to see MEN opening for them. I <3 JD. Next month I'm going to see Peaches with Emily. Life is good; a bit of music, a bit of art, a bit of work, a bit of friends, a bit of good food, a bit of this and that.
