(no subject)
today was my day off. so i woke up at 8 am, biked over to the OLD bike pirates space & Jamie and i loaded the last of the big stuff (tool bench, stands, bunch of bikes) into his van to move to our new space (1292 BLOOR).
i was at my friend place by 11 to start cleaning. they're paying me to clean their house, and its 2.5 times more than i make at my full time job. sweeeeet. they left me keys so i can get in every two weeks (how often i'll be cleaning),
after dropping by BIKE PIRATES again for an hour, i headed to Chris' house where i was painting and caulking for him. by this point in the day i'm doing odd jobs for TWO boys who both have given me KEYS to their houses. feels like i'm dating again but NOT. in a good way.
so my "day off" turned into a day of odd jobs but i like it. i ended the day at the Cock and Tail as well as Lot 16 (a drink at each) and some hanging out at Slava's. gotta work tomorrow so don't wanna get too ahead of myself on weekend fun.
p.s. while i was at Bike Pirates i was trying to fix the mysterious creak in my drive train (no its not the bottom bracket) and ended up cutting my thumb below the knuckle. while dressing that wound i impaled myself on a screw and now have a hole in my wrist... oh well it will all heal. what a weird crazy day.
