My throat is feeling much better. It's not as sore, even though I still sound a little awkward.
There is something wrong with my editing project. Final Cut is not letting me edit the audio the way I want to, and considering the fact that this is an audio project, that's a pretty big deal. LAME. At least it's due Friday and not tomorrow.
Baylor in NY is such a tease. Dr. Joe Kickasola (the guy who runs the program) held a mandatory meeting for anybody attending in the next academic school year-- that means both Fall 2006 and Spring 2007 kids. It's going to be awhile before I get to even apply for internships, so it's hard to think about actually being there since I still have the summer and fall semester to sit through.
In more exciting news, my dad said we might close on the house next week, which means we could start moving in while I'm in town. We won't be going to St. Louis, but he said that he was trying to book a couple of nights at the Hyatt Hill Country with spa treatment just because. That would be sweet. He also said we could go shopping at the outlet stores at San Marcos and the new shops at LaCanterra. I also want to go to the McNay and whatnot. Fun times.
That means I'll be in San Antonio next week. Let's hang out. I'm coming home Thursday afternoon, so yeah.
