This is off this particular topic (though it's cool that we can still send 'snail mail', if it wasn't for amazon.com I'd wonder if mail wasn't joining the Dodo on the 'extinct species' list), but I had to tell someone else the following... and you guys are kindred spirits.

I don't cook. However, I find cooking instruments uniquely interesting. I enjoy imagining what one would accomplish if they owned items from Williams Sonoma or Crate & Barrel. So when someone signed me up for the Williams-Sonoma email advertisements, I didn't bother to un-subscribe. Today's mailing filled me with odd joy at the prospect of new Rack-of-Lamb / thewizrd mailings... but it was (much to my great disappointment) just a recipe.

Delicious though that may sound, I'm sure all here can agree that we'd take the Lamb with or without the Mint Sauce... and obviously, interesting though just the Lamb meat would be, I'm not talking about food.
