Team Neptune!
First of all, a huge thank you to Michael for joining us today for AIDS Walk Los Angeles! His support is incredible and it was a total honor that he made time to join us on our walk. He made the 6.2 mile walk so incredibly entertaining that before we knew it, we were done! Quickest 6 miles I can remember ever walking!
Secondly, thanks to everyone from rack_of_lamb that supported Team Neptune! Without your help, our efforts would not have been as successful. We fundraised about $5,000, although we won't know our official total until November, and we're expecting it to be higher. So, yes, thank you very much for your contributions!
Last, but hardly least, thank you to those of you that joined Team Neptune! spikes_cj and I couldn't be more proud of what our Team accomplished. It was so awesome meeting and chatting with you guys and I'm looking forward to doing this again next year!
As for the walk, probably one of the funniest moments was when a girl from another team noticed Michael's Veronica Mars sweatshirt and commented that it was one of the smartest shows on TV. She then asked Michael if he watched the show, to which he answered that yeah, he did. That had most of us giggling and we found the encounter to be rather adorable. Michael didn't tell her then than he was on the show, but he did later on during the walk. The girl jumped a foot in the air when he told her and I think she was a little embarrassed. It was funny.
