part deux
i have officially entered my second "block" of school. this block includes histology, pharmacology, biochemistry, genetics, physiology, micro/cell biology and some other ologies, i'm sure.
i just opened my "clinical biochemistry made ridiculously simple" book for the first time and read the first page. read along with me:
CHAPTER 1: AN OVERVIEW OF BIOCHEMISTRYLAND
LIPIDLAND is shaped like a string of three hot dogs. it contains, in its western sector, phosphatidylwink village, a frog pond, sphingo's curio shop, and a lipid storage room. in mid-lipidland, there are two roller coasters (an up and a down roller coaster, for fatty acid biosynthesis and degradation), and a musical review by the ketones in the ketone playhouse. in the east, progressing through channel #5, one arrives at the dark and mysterious sterol forest, where one may search for sex, but must beware of falling into the bile bog.

i'm not sure if this book will actually teach me anything or not, but i'm giving it an a for insanity.
aaron got his car yesterday. he is trying to name her. i think that her name should be ursula. she just looks like an ursula.
i almost passed out at the gym today. the whole world went black and nausea ensued. medical school has made me weak.
