HAPPY EASTER, EVERYONE! ♥
I am 25 now, and really ridiculously happy, for the most part. Last Saturday, I hung out with Luis and the Nerdfighters in DC. We went to an art museum and hung out on the Mall and my allergies killed my eyes for a while (all good now)! Then, Luis and I went to a restaurant in Old Town and had pizza dinner with my parents. :D He has met my parents and they like him a lot. It was laid back and they didn't embarrass me. I embarrassed myself a little, but it was fun.
On Wednesday, I saw him again and we went to the Museum of the American Indian and mostly had food and talked. I'm really enjoying how we go all these places and I'm more captivated by him than by the things we should be looking at. But that's probably to be expected. I'm going to see him again on Tuesday, in his hometown, so he doesn't have to always be the one traveling further. We might watch Conan O'Brien's documentary together. :)
For my birthday, I got a lot of exciting things, including the entire Hunger Games trilogy, Beauty and the Beast on DVD, The Lion King on DVD, Rushmore on DVD - completing my Wes Anderson movie collection! (until Moonrise Kingdom comes out on DVD anyway), and The Chipmunk Adventure on DVD! I've wanted that movie for yeeeeears. I also got an iTunes gift card from Luis, so I downloaded Hank Green's Ellen Hardcastle and Danielle Ate The Sandwich's first album. And I downloaded Amanda Palmer Goes Down Under because jinxycat recommended it to me.
My cup runneth over. Now if only I could get a job.
