Today, I bring you a song about Rushmore for February Album Writing Month! This is the Wes Anderson movie I have seen the least amount of times (because it's my least favorite), but this was still fun. :D I wrote it yesterday, while highly decaffeinated so I'm impressed with how it turned out. I managed to write lyrics that make sense, even!
We're going to see The Steep Canyon Rangers tonight! If you don't know who they are... YouTube is your friend. They played with Steve Martin on his banjo tour/CD. We liked 'em so much that we're seeing them without Steve. I especially like the fiddle player.
