First, here's Day 5 of VEDA:
Second, I got a Pottermore account! I am "MoonstoneRiver35"! :D The site is pretty non-exciting right now, though. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a massive rickroll. Though Jo Rowling would definitely win, if so.
Third, I'm reading The Wordy Shipmates by Sarah Vowell right now. So far, it amuses me but, at the same time, it sort of hurts my head. Puritans loved lengthy sentences. It kind of reads more like a long essay, but I'm only in the beginning right now. I still think her best book was Assassination Vacation. That book was amazing, you guys.
Fourth, I've got my parents' cat Lizzie in my room and tonight, the other cats have gotten braver, so they keep coming in and staring at her until she hides/growls. Penguin even hops right into her face, which Lizzie hates. It's pretty amusing. You'd think they'd all unite in their common fascination with Habi, but no. XD No such luck. I hope Lizzie lets me sleep tonight.
Fifth, If you couldn't tell, D.C. was awesome yesterday. I walked so far and saw a lot of sights. I'm pretty proud of myself. It's nice to go on excursions like that, especially for no other reason than cos I want to.
So yesterday was all about the action and today was all about the relaxation. The mental adventure times, as it were.
I'm done taking care of Lucy! ♥ Unless her owner calls me tomorrow and tells me I'm still needed. But I'd kind of like to be free to move away now.
That's all from me, for now! I think there's about to be another cat smack-down, just in time for bed! Yay!
