baby! (part 2)
Scott and Susan had their baby girl! her name is Riley Elaine Douglas, she weighs 9 pounds 2 ounces. She is 22" long. keep in mind that Susan is only 5'4". she is a trooper! they went into the hospital at 5 Am to induce, and it took THAT LONG for Riley to decide it was okay to come into the world. but we're glad she's here!
After spending the day at the hospital waiting room yesterday, we had to leave at 8 PM when visiting hours were over. by the time we got home at 10, she had been born! Ornellie covered my shift which was awesome, so mom and dad and i went back to the hospital today to meet her. Mom's posting the photos on facebook right now. Her official baby photo looks JUST like Scott's. She's pretty adorable, I must say. She has a really round head for a baby, because the actual labor was so quick. and she has really dark eyes compared to most babies I've seen. she also looks like shse's going to scream when she yawns, her face gets all red and mushed together. I love her.
