Well, I'm here.
I like the area. It's nice to be so close to damn near anything I would need or want.
It's like someone turned on the technicolor. I feel like I went through the door to Oz. OK, the people are way too tall for that, but the green is amazing.
There's no good way to get to the airport.
I'm not sure what I think of the church Matt likes. There were moments I was really happy and moments I wanted to cry.
I like the house. HATE the kitchen. It's tiny. I'm having to come up with any and every kitchen storage trick I can think of. I moved some stuff around (including moving our normal dishes into the hutch in the dining room) and now it seems better. We'll see what happens when I actually have to cook in here. Also, not much for the bathrooms. The kids' bathroom is not too bad. The downstairs half bath is abysmal. No storage anywhere. Yuck.
Last night I had dinner at some friends' house. We were pretty close before they moved out here, and now we're all of 10 minutes away. Very cool.
So, on the whole, it's OK.
