Oh! To be bored of a Winter's morn. And to feel rather poetic on top of that is truly more than one can bear to stand. Shay went offline several hours ago, but I did swear I would stay up long enough at least to greet her on her return. But I'm passing the fifth stage of boredom now - and I really would rather not find myself finishing 'Liar' by Stephen Fry this evening, because I find it's always a shame to read a whole book at a time without allowing events to settle in your mind. I am quite enjoying it - a good choice from my parents if I do say so! However, I feel if they knew the vast amounts of sex and such to be found within it's pristine turquoise bindings they might have reconsidered. Haha! Adrian, for anyone who has read the novel, or indeed anyone who has yet to read it (which should fill in anyone else, as you all ought to) is my new homeboy! I love him far too much, haha! I find him quite charming with his ways, and I can relate.
What else has happened today? Other than my acquisition of a rather shiny new scanner 3-in-1 suave BEAST of a machine, and some planning of a REPO! fan redub with Erica, I had an absolutely fantabulous conversation over messenger with Shay in which we similtaneously discussed the relationship of James Potter and The Giant Squid of Hogwarts (which anyone who doesn't already know, is most definitely an OTP) and the state of campsites in the morning. We have forged and set sail an almights FLEET of new, erroneous and bizarre ships - and when they moore up on your stony shores (ooer.) you shall quake and tremble beneath their collective buckets and canon-loads of awesome. Haha!
Now for the question. Do I wish to find something new to do for about half an hour on the offchance that Shay's estimate of how long she would be away are accurate? Or should I just leave her a link to this journal with my apologies and scuttle off into the land of the sleeping? Ohhh, why doth the world test me so? xD I am in such a good mood though, right now, it would be a shame to waste it on slumber. This would be so easy if someone cared to come online to amuse me for a bit! If only I weren't the only insomniac whose MSN I know... typical.
TTYL chappolatas!
I leave you with a casual, pointless quote which just sprung to mind:
"Can I have a latté?" "A Latté?" "Or a Mocha?" "A Mocha?! What is this, Vince Noir's moonlight café?"
You get points if you know where this is from. But you get no points for correcting it, because I acknowledge that it's probably wrong ~ screw you, it's 3am, what do I care? Haha. Tattybyes, Loves. x
